Village Hall PA Systems

What PA? have been supplying PA equipment to village halls all over the UK since 2006, so we have a pretty good idea of what works well.

We know it needs to be simple to use - the hirer just needs to turn up and play music or use the microphones with as little fuss as possible!

OUR UNIQUE SERVICE

Because the cost of installation can be high, What PA? have developed a  unique way to help halls to do as much as they can themselves, meaning they have more budget to spend on the important equipment.

We offer a FREE PA System Design service - building you a package within budget that fulfils your needs, down to the last cable.

We supply a FREE, bespoke installation guide enabling anyone who's handy with a screwdriver to connect your PA equipment together with the cables we supply. Occasionally some parts will need an electrician who is Part P qualified, so we will highlight those and provide wiring diagrams if needed.

We offer FREE email and telephone support whenever you need it. We will help you to get up and running, giving simple advice on how to use the equipment if you need extra help. We will always help should any problems arise in the future, too, even if the equipment is out of warranty.

Our prices may be a little higher than the 'big boys' because as a small company we don't buy in bulk like they do, but your PA System package estimate will include the design of the system down to the last cable, installation diagrams, unlimited help and peace of mind for the life of your system. We think that level of support will be a valuable asset, especially to people who know very little about PA equipment and how it works.

The type of PA system you need for your hall depends upon the size of the hall and the audience, and the type of events you hold there. You may have regular meetings, quiz nights, fitness and dance classes, Amateur Dramatic productions, family parties and fundraisers. Village halls normally don't have to worry about the equipment being suitable for bands and Discos as they will bring their own.

If you hold cinema nights, we already supply a suitable BluRay/DVD player which can be connected to the audio of your PA system and the video input of your projector. We are also planning to develop a range of PA packages that will offer you surround-sound effect within a reasonable budget so please let us know your requirements in that area and we will do our best to help.

You might also need to consider an Induction Hearing Loop in the Hall if you don't already have one. You can read more about them on our Hearing Loops page.

The power of the PA system will depend on the size of the hall and the number of people in the hall (bodies absorb sound!) so please complete our simple enquiry form or email enquiries@whatpa.co.uk and we will build a package for you.

If you are applying for a grant or funding that's not a problem, we can supply you with a printable estimate of everything you need to forward on with your funding application or to show your committee. And we know that committees aren't the fastest decision-makers, so we will never put any pressure on you but will always be here to answer any questions you have and to help you invest in the perfect PA system for your hall.
