What we collect from our simple enquiry form

If you would like us to get in touch with you with some PA system recommendations you can choose to send us your:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Information about the type of PA system you need and where you will be using it

What we do with the information we gather

This information is sent to us securely via email, and we use it:

  • To assess your needs, and send you some equipment recommendations
  • Internal record keeping to continue with the enquiry
  • We never send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided
  • We never use your information to contact you for market research purposes
  • We never contact you about anything other than your original enquiry or the possible resulting sale

Printable estimates

If we send you a printable estimate via email, your name and email address and telephone number (if you have provided it) will be stored on our database. Many customers make an initial enquiry and then get back to us months/years later when they have the funding in place, so we do keep enquiries for up to 6 years. You may ask at any time what information we hold about you, and you may ask for this to be removed by emailing enquiries@whatpa.co.uk, calling us or writing to us. We will endeavour to do so within 72 hours.
 

Sales invoices

If your enquiry progresses to a sale, we will ask for your invoice address, delivery address and telephone number. We retain these details on a database for 6 years a) for our VAT records and b) so we can see what you bought and when should you need to make a claim under the terms of your Warranty.


Secure payments

You can choose to make a BACS transfer or send a cheque, you can pay via Paypal or you can pay by card over the telephone.

We process telephone payments via a secure SagePay online terminal.  At no time do we ever retain your card details and they become invisible to us once the payment has been completed. If we need to issue you with a refund we can do so without viewing your card details again.

We process card payments made via the online shop securely through PayPal or SagePay who are all compliant with EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We never see, handle or retain any of your card details.


What we collect from our online shop

If you buy something through our online shop your order is processed via our account with EKM Powershop on our behalf who may collect the following information:

  • Name and payment details
  • Contact information including email address

On our simple enquiry form, you can choose to fill in the email address or telephone number field in order for us to contact you via that method in order to answer your enquiry. You may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us and we will delete any emails from you.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us.
