The LD Stinger 15A is an active subwoofer which, thanks to its outstanding characteristics, can be combined with numerous active or passive full-range cabinets to form small- to medium-sized PA systems.
The infinitely tuneable low pass filter (80 Hz to 200 Hz / 18 dB) permits a freely selectable crossover frequency to the mid-high tops within this range. Active full-range systems or a corresponding power amp for passive tops can be driven via a fixed frequency 100 Hz high-pass output.
The two R/L inputs make it possible to produce a mono sum signal in the bass range. These circuitry variants offer a high level of flexibility for various applications. The active bass feature can be used alone, for example, in smaller rooms. For situations requiring a more powerful system, the LDESUB15A has a second speaker output for connecting a passive bass cabinet.
